Nancy Rabolt, Ph.D.
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Rabolt has taught fashion merchandising and fashion consumer behavior for over 30 years and has been the Department Chair of CFS/D since 1998. She holds a B.S from SUNY Oneonta, an M.S. from Southern Illinois University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her research has included cross-cultural consumer behavior and global aspects of the apparel industry. She has made numerous presentations at the International Textile and Apparel Association and family & consumer science conferences. Her publications are in the Clothing & Textiles Research Journal, Journal of Fashion Marketing & Management, International Journal of Human Ecology, Japanese Journal of Clothing Research, Journal of Family & Consumer Sciences, among others. She has published two texts: Consumer Behavior in Fashion with Michael Solomon (Prentice Hall) and Concepts and Cases in Retail and Merchandise Management with Judy Miler (Fairchild).
