Dietetic Interns Volunteer at Project Open Hand

The SF State Dietetic Interns volunteered at Project Open Hand, a non-profit that provides 2,500 meals with love daily to the sick and elderly in San Francisco and Oakland. Our group was able to help pack 1500 meals, and dice up cucumbers, broccoli, cilantro, bell peppers, and zucchini to be used later for fresh and nutritious meals. It was a great way to provide service to our community and also enjoy some team bonding!
