Kate Haisch is a Registered Dietitian who has worked in clinical, community, and private practice settings. Currently Kate has a private practice in Half Moon Bay where she helps clients achieve their nutrition and health goals through a combination of motivational interviewing and therapeutic hypnosis. Kate has worked extensively in eating disorders and is passionate about helping to prevent the onset of this painful disease. Therefore she spends much of her free time volunteering in local schools to help get students excited about nutrition while developing healthy eating habits. Kate also trained in the culinary arts at the San Francisco Cooking School and enjoys teaching people how to prepare healthy and delicious meals. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California at Santa Cruz as well as a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Consumer Family Studies/Dietetics from San Francisco State University. Kate lives in Half Moon Bay with her husband, two boys, dog, and very old cat.
